A Prayer For My Babies – Written By Romy.
Time flies.
Moments pass.
Memories fade.
Each day, their legs get a little taller, their arms a little longer.
Each day, their words become a little more refined, their pronunciation a little stronger.
Each night, their sleep goes a little bit longer, the house a little quieter.
Each night, their snuggles get a little bit shorter, their hugging grip a little looser.
It brings tears to my eyes realizing they won’t be babies for long. How can one month or one year go so fast? What did I miss while I was living life, caught up in other daily distractions?
How can I preserve this moment, this time with my precious gifts from heaven?
Their eyes innocent and pure – lovingly looking up at their mama, smiling, and cooing, giggling and singing, talking and dancing, squealing and waving.
They know nothing of the bad things in this world. Oh, how I wish I could freeze time.
Since I can’t make time stop, I pray.
I pray God gives them beautiful dreams at night.
I pray He protects them and surrounds them with His angels.
I pray He guides them and opens their eyes, ears, and hearts to see Him so they know they are never alone.
I pray He sends incredible people into their lives who lift them up and love them and encourage them.
I pray He gives them strength and courage to face the difficult days.
I pray He gives them grace and mercy to get through challenging times.
I pray He gives them wisdom and patience, boldness and restraint.
I pray He gives them pure joy and peace that passes all understanding.
I pray He gives them good health and long lives.
I pray they feel His strong and loving arms holding them when they are heartbroken.
I pray they hear His voice calling them when they feel alone.
I pray they know His truth when questioning what is right and wrong.
I pray they sing with reckless abandon and praise Him for who He is and for His miracles and wonders.
I pray they know how loved they are, that God loves them with an everlasting love.
I pray that they know Him so intimately that they have the blessed assurance of heaven awaiting them as their eternal home.
OMG! All sooo true. Brings tears to my eyes knowing how fast time flies as our babies grow up way too fast! Cherish the moments and love them unconditionally! ❤️❤️❤️
